Bad Movie

The script on this movie was appalling. Lines seemed to be spoken out of nowhere for no reason or out of context.

The continuity was quite bad. By that I mean storywise. Take the car ride. They decide to take the short cut (I wont say Wrong Turn), then seconds later they have a blow out. Fine, we think. Go back to the road they came from. but, no, it seems they've apparently been driving for miles down this road although they've only just turned onto it.

We all know that in these types of movies, the characters do stupid things, like go inside 'spooky houses' (the movie even alludes to this). But, there's so many things in this movie that a person would not do. It reminded me of the short 'movies' in computer games between the gameplay where the characters decide what to do next and the player has no input or choice, but you're saying "no, that's a stupid thing to do" and have to go along with it. It was very erratic and implausible.

I began watching this movie for what it was, a typical 'seen it all before' horror movie. The script, editing and ultimately the directing let it down to such a point that I couldn't even enjoy it for what I watched it for, the mindless horror.
