No Country For Old Men Casting
...gets mentioned a lot around this film because they both had sombre tones and came out at the same time with the same lead character.
However, the similarities in the cast are striking! Not only are Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin in it but much of the supporting and small cast as well such as Kathy Lamkin and Barry Corbin.
Does anyone know why this was? Did both projects use the same casting agency or supervisor, for example?
