What a stupid reply to the kid at the end!

When he asks "why did the king send a boy to fight?" (Meaning, why did David fight Goliath.)

If the mother had known the actual history of that fight, she'd have been able to give an intelligent answer.

David had God on his side. He couldn't have lost the fight. David was blessed by God and eventually became King.

Of course, with all of the atheists in Hollywood, I'm not surprised that this information wasn't included. They've probably never read the Bible (or the Torah). Although I do remember that the koran was mentioned (as if that counts! Satan's book!)

lol yeah because knowing the Bible by heart is the definition of intelligence.

It's not. Look it up.

Although I do remember that the koran was mentioned (as if that counts! Satan's book!)

Thanks for providing a glaring example.

You sound like a religious nut. Had we both been born 3500 years ago and with IMDb with us we'd be arguing about Amon Ra and Osiris. Jesus hadn't been invented yet. The David and Goliath story is pure hokum. The novice boy warrior became a sadist-he cut off Goliath's head while Goliath was semi conscious. Geez, I thought only Islamic terrorists did such acts. The Israelites invented their God. I'm surprised you can relate to such a corny ruse. You should realize all your religious views are purely time and place oriented.

Well I mean it is true. There is more to the story. But what did it have to do with anything anyway?
