Needs a remake...

A remake of the original film, or a remake of this one in particular? Because I honestly do think there are some nice ideas here. They would need a massive overdo, but with the right writer this probably could've been a worthy sequel to the original.

You would need to do a heavy rewrite, But the basic premise of a universal remote could be turned into a good episode for the tv series.
