One thing that bothers me

I enjoy watching Mystery Diagnosis, but there is one thing that really bothers me.
How come a person will be really sick or having this awful pain, but yet they wait weeks and weeks before they seek any medical help?

I admit I hardly ever get sick, but if I was to the point of being in excruciating pain or was so sick that I couldn't eat anything, you can bet I would be booking it to the nearest ER!

Some people are like that. My husband is one. He doesn't even want to take an aspirin.

There are also some of us who have so many chronic problems already, we no longer want to go to another doctor for yet another problem. Just tired of the time and money it takes.

Or some people have been dismissed by doctors so much that they've lost faith
