What happened to Wong Po after his family was killed? Are supposed to believe he was arrested or that he got away? I wish the movie was more clear about this instead of just showing him for the last time crying over the death of his family.
shareThat's the point, it's a loose conclusion of the character so his fate is open for interpretation. It's possible that he got arrested in the end but I personally think he committed suicide because he had nothing to live for anymore.
shareFor someone who probably has zero attachment to Sammo's family (understandably, since the audience barely sees them and who gives a crap?) You might think Sammo could just shake it off and return to being big boss.
But it very well may have that he's "broken" and just retire and let someone else take over.
