it totally stunk. my reasons why are on the thread "this board looks so sad". please tell me y u hate the english dub. (i feel the same way about cardcaptors vs ccs)

Whatever like I've said before I'll always prefer the Japanese over the English. Most dubs turn out...not...good. Plus I love the Japanese VAs already, no one can beat Inada at Kuro-kun!

I like and have gotten used to the japanese voices for the characters, though I'm curious at the least as to what they might end up with in english.
Well... I was aware that funimation (v.v) had attained the rights to Tsubasa Resovoir Chronicle, however... I did now know the dub was out already... can you help me out with this good sir? Where did you see the dub o.o (Ps: if you can't tell, I detest funimation.)
shareI think he is talking about the Cardcaptors dub. Not the Tsubasa Chronicles dub. And the cast havent even been officially announced yet and recording probably wont start until later this month or something.
As far as hating dubs, if you hate the dub so much, complain to the company, not me or on this forum. And not all dubs are bad. Its just finding one that suits you. I suggest listening to what shadow_2003 said for reccomendations.
Nothing on FUNIMATIONS website regarding the progress of the dub. So either you have only seen a Fan Dub, or your lying

Apparently, Animmax are doing English dubs. Apprently they're already airing them. I'm not sure because I live in England.
And I agree with the CC vs CCS. CC really sucked. The beginning theme was really queer.

The Australian versions of the CCS opening themes were okay. Lyrically, quite terrible though. However, I liked the Fruits Candy dub better than the original.

The English dub of Animax Asia version is an in-house dubbed and most of the voice actors were came from the in-house dubbed of Card Captor Sakura

Cardcaptors was totally horrendous, but dubbing is improving now that companies are realising that the fans don't want horribly butchered anime. I mean, the Fruits Basket dub was great, the Naruto dub wasn't that bad, and we can only hope that the Tsubasa dub will be good.

CCS was done by NELVELNA which is a Childrens Company. I honestly wouldn't call that dub horendous, but I so much like CCS uncut better

Reply to a few posts above. I actually think there are a lot of good dubs, but I didn't like Rurouni Kenshin's dub. I can't STAND kenshin's dubbed voice. Everyone elses is good- but his...no...i don't like it.
sharei heard the original japanese dub...and the acting from the leads isnt all that great either. especially Sakura and Li
