A question on Season 3 (spoilers)
I couldn't figure out exactly what the link was between Ronaldo the serial killer and the Albanian pimps. Why did they protect him for sometime before deciding to get rid of him?

When in jail, Ronaldo (who was mistreated by him) had explained to the Albanian leader of the prostitution ring who he was and what was his modus operandi as a serial killer so that it can benefit them mutually: The cumbersome prostitute can be killed without drawing attention on her pimp (she was just a whore victim of a sick well-known predator, at random) and Ronaldo is "proved" innocent since he was in jail when the murder occured.
At least that's what i understood.
