Am I the only one who chokes up at this scene?

Am I the only one who chokes up at the scene where "The Battlefield" is being played? Great song, but combined with that scene, it's a tearjerker.
(I personally think it's a tearjerker either way, but the scene intensifies it.)
That's my favorite song and scene from the movie.
Does anyone know who sings it? I think it's Sonya Isaacs, but I'm not sure.
