what happened to the 3 old night watchmen in the end?

i don't remember them resolving what happened to these characters after they were finally caught (no characters seemed to mention them at the end of the film). Did i miss something during a 'toilet break' or something?

thanks.

I thought I saw them mopping up in the closing credits. Presumably they all kept quiet and forced the old guys to "serve their time" by cleaning up after the all-night raves.

"We're nightwatchmen, not janitors!" said Gus during the end titles. My guess is that, since Larry didn't "rat on them" (as Reginald put it), and the museum was experiencing a major increase in popularity, the good Dr. McPhee found himself in need of a few more nightwatchmen and re-hired the three old ones.

I was wondering that, too. They just kind of get tied up and then forgotten...you'd think they were arrested or something, but no police went to the museum, and it doesn't seem like the curator knew there was a break-in.

They were forced to clean up the mess. As seen on the end credits.

And then the exhibits just let them go?
