Do not watch this movie

Seriously. It was the most regrettable movie I have wasted time watching in a while. Tom Hanks was barely in it, Sandy Bullock was barely in it, and the movie just was not entertaining IMO or something I'd ever recommend watching.

It just didn't go anywhere.

If you expect to be "entertained" by a movie like this, there is something very wrong with you.

Experiencing human emotion is the point of this film. If you did not get that, I got nothing for you. Go back to watching Dumb and Dumber.

reply

Sorry, but the emotion this movie succeeds at triggering most are "annoyed", "bored", and "regretful".

As in.. This kid's character is annoying, I'm bored because it barely goes anywhere, and I regret having watched it.

reply

Just because you didn't like it doesn't give you the right to tell others not to watch it. As previously mentioned, stick with Dumb and Dumber.

You are right. I waited to watch this, and now I remember why I avoided it. I'm glad I watched because I didn't simply trust other's thoughts; I judged it for myself, but it was a time-waster for me.

I don't know how you saying "IMO" it's not worth watching, and you finding it boring means you are only fit to watch "Dumb and Dumber."

You reasons to recommend not to watch the movie are flat as pancakes, now shuu troll.

Sorry the movie didn't include the parents' actors as much as you would like. The movie was about the boy. I felt that the clips that included memories of his father or his mother's watchful care in spite of not understanding exactly how to love her boy were very good. I don't watch many movies just because of an actor, and to be truthful I probably wouldn't have watched it because of Hanks or Bullock. They're definitely not in my top 10.

The movie wasn't meant to be entertaining, I'd say. It was to invoke feelings. To see how people treat this boy. To see what he does in handling how people treat him and how he branches out from his mental condition.

It didn't go anywhere? The boy literally went everywhere in NYC tracking down people that could be the one who owned the key. It went through dozens of emotions. The boy was growing up and coping with the loss of his father.

I'm sorry you didn't like it. I wouldn't say it's my favorite movie, but it was a good movie.
