Zia vs. The Dude

Does anyone else feel like Patrick Fugit is trying to channel The Dude (Jeff Bridges) from The Big Lebowski? Listen to his cadence when he speaks. Examples include:

"No, man! You sound like a *beep* uhh, Homeland Security agent!"

"No, I'm not gonna drop your hat in the hole! What're you talking about?!"

That kind of thing. Am I alone in seeing this?
