Damn! Someone stole this from our library :-(

The library here in Dallas (TX) owns one copy of this on DVD, and I'd had it on request for a few weeks, steadily moving ahead in the waiting list to check it out, until I was finally first in line. Yay! But then it didn't show up, and continued to just not show up. It turns out the last person turned it in, and now it can't be found anywhere. Librarian says most likely someone just took it off the shelf and walked out with it (though it shouldn't have been on the shelf in the first place). Wish I could afford to buy a copy, watch it and then donate it to the library. Anyway, just wanted to vent. (Also, if whomever took it sees this, please be a mensch and just turn the thing in, okay?)

I realize this is probably not a notably fabulous movie, but I was really interested to see it, for various reasons and numerous cast members. Sigh.



Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.
