Sorry fans but this movie woulda done a LOT better if the Mother wouldnt had done her crappy bad acting,those 2 leading characters (70's girl and el polo loco guy) they did an Great job, i am not sure whats the name of that woman that plays the mother, but she RUINED this movie.
Her character was sopposed to be a Bitch, but she ruined her Character.
Writing was really good.

EVIL Connecticut mothers? Lol. Surely their can't be a whole lot of them can there? If my future husbond has a Connecticut mother, I hope she's nothing like Edwina. (No offense Carrie. That just means you did a good job.)

Actually, she probably got a lot of inspiration from her own mother ... Debbie Reynolds isn't the saint that people think she is ... Go read Carrie's book "Postcards from the Edge" ... LOL ...

i agree... I actually liked the movie (at least EVERY sceen without Carrie Fischer) she's SO annoying... and literally plays the same character in every movie i see her in... can we say, typecasted???
