Haven't seen anybody mention this, but based on the hate this movie seems to have elicited, did anybody see the original Japanese version?

Saw it years ago and wondered why they would remake it (though, it was inevitable I suppose).

Yeah, I have the Japanese version on DVD, way better than this one

This is not a rake of the Japanese film that's why it hasn't been mentioned..
