Life affirming and Highly underrated!

It was a lot of fun, and, while trivial, I found it refreshing to see a nerdy character realise that growing a spine is the proper response to life's challenges...

This is a refreshing departure form the usual facile lessons of sacrificing oneself for others, or aligning with the establishment in order to be saved/accepted by the universe (i.e. the lesson in most comicbook & big action movies)...

In this way Norbit is life affirming in a way movies aren't these days and enlightening about the nihilistic values of our entertainment culture...

Am I the only one who found this movie underrated?

It seems like it got a lot of hate when it first came out... I don't remember a recent silly comedy that is this funny... It's a good time
