what happened at end

I thought the movie was lovely. (And, I did not see any hint of Lesbianism)

It seemed to me that at the end, the young girl Ana returned to Bosnia to continue her treatments and that Raza is finally able to embrace her past, and Mila comes to terms with not being trapped by the "House"

I am confused as to why Ana would use the savings of Raza to get well and then return to Bosina.

I thought the acting was done very well. I could almost turn off the subtitles and understand everything just by gestures and tone.

I agree superb acting. To me she did not go back to Bosnia, I felt like she just kept it moving to the next city, or country. Maybe do the same to other people.

...i really hate open ends, that's why i got a bit disappointed of the movie, because it's just absolutely lovely and the acting is really great, i agree, and also the camera views are great!

the first thing i thought in the end was that she returned to bosnia to do her treatment. because in the hostpital raza tells her that you can choose your own view out of the window. and ana always kept saying she doesn't know how long she'll stay, and throughout the film i felt she somehow still missed her home country.

but i still do hate open ends;-)

I thought it was an economic choice. That the surgery in Bosnia would cost a whole lot less than in Zurich. She's received help, she's heading off to do the surgery -- and that is closure at this point in the story. I don't think there's anything there to suggest that she is staying in Bosnia once she's better.

Did she return to Bosna or did she say just a simple *beep* off to everything and went ther way, a new place may be? Both is possible.. I really dont know.

But a nice movie.

I'm also not convinced she went back to Bosnia. I mean, she left for some reason that's not completely explained. Why Switzerland? I think she may have just wanted to travel before she got more ill (or dies). And maybe she's just continuing her journey - though most of us would hope she goes somewhere for treatment.
