dogs who played rexx

sorry, i haven't seen the movie, but im going to. i don't, i was looking at it, and i just thought it was hilarious that most of the dogs names were all lord of the rings. arwen, rohan, frodo, and then randomly, STRYDER. was there a stryder in lord of the rings? lol just wondering...
