DVD

Does anybody know when the DVD for this movie will be released? I just saw Were The World Mine last night at the Inside Out Ottawa LGBT Film Fest in Ottawa, ON Canada! It was absolutely amazing, I completely fell in love with every character by the end. A Midsummer's Night Dream is my favourite (yes I'm a Canadian) Shakepeare play and this is by far my favourite version of it!!!

I hope the DVD will be released soon!!!

I just pre-ordered. I'm in a small West-Texas town and had absolutely no opportunity to see it, but it sounds wonderful. You can pre-order at Amazon.com (http://tinyurl.com/cc5eha) for $22.49 but they say it will be released June 9th. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

It is now available and includes the film "Fairies" and a director commentary that I have not had time to hear yet.

You can also try tlavideo.com. That is where I get most of my movies, gay and straight. They are usually cheaper than the stores or Amazon.

BTW: Stand by to be totally enchanted. You will not be disappointed. It is one of those movies that can lift me out of down mood. (The other is Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Marilyn: "I wasn't born yesterday, you know." Jane: "Honey, sometimes that's the only possible explanation.")

While I keep tlavideo.com bookmarked because it's especially good for letting us know what's coming, you can do better, pricewise, at an online site called dvdpacific.com. I use them often and find they're frequently cheaper than most other such sites---I've had no problem with their service.

Their price for "Were the World Mine" is $16.65, shipping included. TLA's is $19.99, plus shipping.
