Does the English European version work on U.S. computers?

I don't know what languages they made the game in, but I'm sure they made a version for the U.K. or other English speaking areas of Europe.

I was wondering if such a version works on U.S. computers and if anyone has tried it?

Yes. Over the last two days, I played the uncut European version on my US machine from start to finish, and it worked without as much as a single glitch.
