Music on tonights episode - 17th July

Its the music again! - seems to be the main topic on this message board.
I know the track at the start of tonights episode was Jacque Brel's "Sons Of" but cannot work out or find which version this was - who was the female singer of this version - it was beautiful.
I thought that this was the best episode yet.

No 100% sure but it certainly sounded like Judy Collins.

Yes, it is Joan Collins. If you look at amazon.com and look up her album "Whales & Nightingales" you can find the track and even play a sample. Marvellous- I am buying a copy!

I just looked up Joan Collins, and got loads of dirty womens 'love' stories.

I've listened to the Judy Collins version, but I'm not sure it's her we hear on "Sensitive Skin".

What about Gay Marshall's recording from the off Broadway recording of the play made last year? Could someone with a better musical ear than me give it a whirl and see what they think?

I thought it might have been Joan Baez singing 'Sons of'.I haven't heard Gay Marshalls recording.

Sorry, changed my mind (woman's perogative !)I've just downloaded Judy Collins' 'Sons Of' and I think it is her singing.
