Did They Abandon the Dog
In the first episode they left the dog tied up outside of the beauty salon. Did they ever go back to get him or was he abandoned?

I think it was a tie-in to the son's concern that his father would forget to feed William. In fact, they forget him at the beauty salon. I would like to think that they remember him eventually and that he's still there when they return.
They must have gotten him back and said nothing. Otherwise their son would have thrown it into their faces at every opportunity. He was good at whimpering how terrible they were as parents and making everything about himself.
I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
