If Cher's 'A' List and Kathy's a 'D' Lister who are the B + C Listers?

It's easy to see that people like say....George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie etc...are “A” listers, while Kathy’s content to call herself a “D” lister....but who would be considered “B” and “C” listers?

A. – Tom Cruise? Meryl Streep?

B. – Richard Jenkins?
(fantastic actor, but hardly anyone who reads his name knows who he is)

C. – Dean Cain? Tom Arnold? Larry Linville? Tori Spelling? Victoria Jackson? ( Used To Be’s? )

D. – Andrew Dice Clay? Julie Brown? Tom Green? Andy Richter? Andy Dick? Paulie Shore? ( has beens? )

Can YOU think of any more? If you can please post your choices for A - D listers, because it seems rather easy to come up with the names of "A" listers and "D" listers, but not so easy to think of "B" and "C" listers?

And what, exactly, qualifies somebody as a "B" or "C" lister I wonder?

Is a "B" Lister someone who used to be an A lister, but hasn't had a hit movie or TV series in a year or two? I dunno--you tell me??? And what constitute a "C" Lister, exactly; somebody on a soap opera or someone who used to be a moderately successful TV actor that never really graduated to "Big Screen" success and is now forced to do infomercials that air at 4am?

What's your criterion for the list designations?

My guess:

A List - - Megastars, Superstars, most bankable, influence, worldwide appeal:

Madonna, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt,
Jennifer Aniston, Elton John, Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, Matt Damon, Renee Zellweger, Oprah, Leonardo Dicarprio...

B-List - Less popular faces, former stars of hit TV shows, less bankable stars, some former popular teen stars:

Hugh Grant, Lucy Liu, Carrie Fisher, Sienna Miller, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Paul Walker, Joan Rivers, Mena Suvari, Frances McDormand, Elisabeth Shue, Barbara Hershey, Mark Ruffalo, Parker Posey, Danny Glover, Brooke Shields...

C-List - People known by face but not really by name, slight fame, previous but fleeting fame, fame by association:

Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne, Stephen Baldwin, Thora Birch, Macaulay Culkin, Corey Feldman....

In "reality", there isn't anything below a C-list. My Life on the D-List is just a play on the ulmer scale, though it is sometimes used to describe someone who is mostly obscure and mainly known for odd appearances and reality TV "stars" like Big Brother contestants. With Kathy's Emmy wins I would say she's got to be at least on the B-List now.

I have read before that who people date and turn up with to award shows and premieres can determine which group they would be associated with. Katie Holmes would have been B-List pre Tom Cruise but A-list since they got married. Marc Anthony would have been B-list prior to marrying Jennifer Lopez, Sienna Miller would apparently be classed as B-list on her own but A-list with Jude Law, and Hugh Grant B-list on his own, A-list with a girlfriend.
