Was dirt invented in the 18th century?

That was the first thing i noticed, not to mention how well fed and rested the swedish side looked.. After having marched and fought through half of russia and not having food, and being constantly harassed by gurillas... Ah well, the masses will eat and swallow everything, that's why wars persist.
