Terrible Movie

I love Hindi movies but that one was just terrible. Hindi directors cannot make horror flicks so why even bother? None of the stories were good, everything from the intermission on was total and complete BS. The directors should just stick to love stories.. but make them creative.

I agree with you 100% my friend. I can't believe I wasted almost 3 hours of my life on this rubbish! I mean it wasn't even horror, the only story i found interesting and i mean just about interesting, was the last story. The arjun rampal and anil kapoor stories were both very predictable.

ONLY the RAMSAYS can make good horror films in india. I mean look at PURANA MANDIR, SAAMRI, DAK BANGLA, TAIKHANA, to name just a few. Classics all of them.

The only thing i'm DARNA of is, ram gopal verma having another go at makin a horror movie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

;)

Atleast ramsays' pack their flicks with a lot of sleaze to keep the audience engaged.. :-)

As your attorney, I advise you take a hit out of that little brown bottle in my shaving kit.

The best horror movie was Booth by Urmila......

...but yeah, horror definitely isn't bollywood's specialty

At least RGV can say he didn't personally write or direct any of the episodes...only the one with Randeep Hooda spooked me out.

Ram Gopal Varma was the director of the episode with Ammitabh and Ritesh.

Ok, this may contain spoilers. I'll start with the start.
The first episode was pretty witty, where the guy dies by looking at the poster of the movie itself. Pretty witty, but nothing scary.

Amitabh episode left me pretty baffled. My copy ended when the student looks at the "image" in thge mirror. Did something else happen after that or was my copy complete?

Arjun Rampal episode was a complete REPEAT of the Nana Patekar episode from Darna Mana Hai. I had an impression that Arjun would be the dead guy. Nothing special in the episode.

Rajpal Yadav/Suneel Shetty episode was the WORST. I have no clue what the message was unless I miss something. I can't believe after so many years, Suneel still speaks such pathetic hindi. His dialog delivery was horrible. Rajpal Yadav is a brilliant actor (Main Meri Patni Aur Woh! YES!!), but here his role didn'd do any justice. So he dies at the end. What's scary in that???

Anil Kapoor/Mallika Sehrawat episode was funny, not scary, and probably the best in terms of acting. Poor guy dies thinking that she was a spook. Witty again!

Randeep Hooda episode was a cheap B-Grade Story. A soul acquires a body, and kills her killers.

Overall, Darna Mana Hai was a great movie and really had good direction and mature acting, even from unknown faces.
This movie, although much anticipated, was a waste of time. I'm sorry, but so many directors, a hoarde of actors, still couldn't save the poor screenplay.

Wow, I haven't heard the Cranberries in years.

I, for one, like to see more Hindi directors branching out into other themes. It's always either Romance or India vs Pakistan. This was a nice change. Granted this movie is not Hitchcock. But it never tries to be. More in the vein of Scream, a blending of comedy & suspense. Stories seemed too short for it to work. Unpolished, but I give the director credit for trying something new. A noble effort, IMHO.

I think some of you are just mad because they took shots at movie fans.
