Everything was beautiful until... (SPOILERS)

So I was really having a great time watching this movie. Everything went great for about 90 mins until Ashraf's sister was killed and I was about to call it "the best Israeli film ever". Sadly it ended up being just another propagandistic portrayed as a "protest" film (just like "Beaufort" and the other gay-themed "Yossi & Jagger") because we still had to see the "Palestinian suicide bomber". How dissapointing.

I personally don't think the film really needed to end up in tragedy. I mean they already went through a lot: Ashraf living practically as an illegal immigrant, not accepted by his community, the rest of the group being rejected... I mean do we actually needed the suicide-bomber ending?

I know a lot of people are saying that Ashraf simply decided to blow up himself because he'll never be accepted but to me that was not the real intention of the filmmaker. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone here. And if you watched carefully the film you'd noticed that Ashraf was very mysterious and he always act as he was hiding something (Yeli even brought that up in the middle of the film), but it could have ended up being pure speculation.

This film was definitely not Palestinian-friendly at all.

P.S.: I apologise if my comments were to harsh that is just my personal opinion and is directed to the Israeli film industry and not the Israeli population in general.

I actually like the drama at the end, but I didn't like the fact that Ashraf went to the café, knowing he'll find there Noam and probably Lulu.
If the director want to kill both in a terrorist suicide, I think it may be more poetic to make them meet each other in some random street in Israel and accidentally in a kiss or in a hug push the button, than the actual end.
I still consider this a good movie, but it could be great.
