What's the (V) stand for in the title?

Noticed the title had a (V) in it and was wondering what it stood for.
Does anyone know?
First I thought it had something to do with music, but then I found the same (V) in the title for The Animatrix.

Just curious.

Could it be Video? Not released in the movies or something like that.

Also:
(TV) means it's a television movie
(VG) means it's a videogame
(mini) means it's a television miniseries

i think the V stands for voice...like an actor you dont see, just hear their voice...or an animated movie.

Yeah. smppa is correct.

It is definitely Video. It means the movie went straight to video release and never had a cinematic release, like smppa said.
