i used to read the Three Investigators all the time. but after watching the trailers, i have a feeling that this movie is going to bomb. IMO they're doing the same thing w/ Three Investigators that they did w/ nancy drew (i also love the nancy drew books). they're turning a great book series into a lackluster movie filled w/ crude jokes and a mediocre plot.

shareThe Nancy Drew movie was an embarrassment. This movie is not bad at all, if you overlook the fact that the plot has nothing to do with the plot of the book, "The Secret of Skeleton Island". But all in all, not bad at all. They were very accurate with Headquarters, keeping in mind that the books were written in the 60s and this is the OOs.
The film was well made and I think if I could watch it in English it would make more sense. Like any other trailer, it is all jumbled up, with the scenes mixed in no apparent order. The only thing that made no sense at all was the elevator scene.
