Anyone noticing a trend here............... ........

with these book adaptations turned into movies that is helping our young talent get established in the acting world?
it helped Pia Miranda, Leeanna Waslman, Matt Newton, Kick Gurry in Looking For Alibrandi.
Saskia Burmeister, Alex Cappelli, Delta Goodrem in Hating Alison Ashley.
So i think 48 Shades will do heaps for Richard Wilson, Robin McLeavy, Emma Lung and Victoria Thaine.

I don't think he's a bad actor, well actually i havn't really seen him anything other than 1 episode of Pirate island. I can't say much cos that's a kiddie tv show. I think i might wait until 48 Shades is out and then i'll get back and decide who is the star of the film and who i reckon has a future in acting.

I haven't seen him in anything else, but I thought he was pretty good in 48 Shades.

I saw 48 Shades today at one of the advanced screenings and i thought Nick played the role of Chris really well just like i imagined in the book.

i actually think the movie 'peaches' helped emma lung's acting career a lot more than 48 shades
but thats just my opinion :)

Well, Peaches was a lot more dramatic and challenging for her. Her role in 48 Shades is basically to waft in and out of scenes and yet be pivotal to the story. As in Peaches she doesn't say a lot but her unique screen presence can convey a story's message. Personally, Stranded (along with Peaches) and dare I say it, the much-maligned (undeservedly) The Cooks tv series, showed just how much range this actor has.
