Fabulous!!

I was lucky enough to see 48 Shades last night and I really enjoyed it. It was such a gorgeous film!!
It was very similar to the book and all of the actors were wonderful. A special "Two Thumbs Up" to Nick Donaldson, who was hilarious as Chris Burns (not to mention a terrific dancer)!

Is that a spoiler you just wrote about Nick Donaldson dancing?
Anyway it's 8 days till it's released!! I loved the book so much that i've started reading his other books like Bachelor Kisses and Perfect Skin.
On Nick's official site it saids that he is writing a pilot/telemovie for Bachelor Kisses for NIne network.

I really enjoyed the film too. The party scene was a classic.

Phil is such a party animal!

Just saw 48 shades today - and it was an enjoyable 90 or so minutes but nothing spectacular really. It was well made, well acted and gave me a few glorious laughs (the party scene is VERY funny!).

However not sure which party animal you were referring to. Nick Donaldson is very funny as the nerdy best friend Chris Burns aka "Friction" - but it was Mathew Booth as Phil who stole the show at the party.

Maybe i am wrong - but i did stay around for the credits cos Matthew reminded me of my Year 8 Chemistry teacher a bit. I THINK Mathew has a good chance of an AFI nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance and Victoria Thaine is definitely a star of the future. She is very good in this and equally good in Caterpillar Wish. She'll be heading off to the USA really really soon.
