is the main male actor (the gringo) peruvian? does anyone have any biographical details about him? thanks

I think he is spanish but he looks exactly like a peruvian from Lima

Hello:
he looks like a peruvian of spanish descent at most :D. Most people of Lima dont look like that, thus the "gringo". But in some areas of Lima (its a biiigg city) where the upper class "limeños" dwell, his looks would be pretty common sight.
Nice acting by the way.

he's acting is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!
the actor's direction is damn bad too!
altough the movie is not bad, i'm peruvian and i kind of liked it

Since, in your view, the lead actor is awful and the direction is too, what makes the film "not bad"? Just wondering.

He's not a foreign actor, in fact, he's peruvian, and as far as i can remember, i went to college with him :/
He had no previous acting experience, he had done some modelling and i think i saw him as a regular in those raw contest tv shows at noon.
IMO his acting pretty much sucked, but at the end he really fits a little.

The DVD has this actor's bio (rented at Netflix). He is from Puerto Rico.

The actor, Carlos de la Torre, is from the Dominican Republic, and his mother's family is from Peru, according to the mini-bio on the DVD.
