SPOILER: watching this on demand

so I just started watching this and the dog just got killed

But I'm like, who does that. She just left her dog, and the dog saved them no less. Maybe I'm just an animal lover through and through, but I could never just leave my pet like that. It wasn't even like they had to, that's what's so stupid. When they ran, they could have easily pulled the dog to follow them. I hate when they try to be more dramatic in movies by killing off animals.

I know what you're thinking, but no I don't work for the ASPCA, LOL!

There have been rumors that they actually killed the dog in that scene. Unbelievable what movie exec's will do to make a quick buck these days.

I have to return some video tapes.

I can't believe that the American Animal Cruelty people would actually allow that to happen - it's probably just hearsay.....

I agree completely. And unfortunately they did it twice in this movie. I picked up early on that this movie would probably be B-quality. But killing off both pets completely ruined what little opinion I may have had of this story. I only rated this one star, if I could give it zero I would have.
