Gunslinger Girl The Movie: How would redstaters + neocons feel? Mormons?

I guess they would feel a dilemma. On the one hand, the film promotes gun use for young girls, which is one of their pet projects: Guncrazies love the idea of young girls being familiar with guns, it fits in so nice with their "America is under attack" world view.

On the other hand, it also explores the relationship with older men and young girls, which goes a bit against their life style, not counting mormons here.
Yes, I realize that the relationship is strictly platonic, and it's explicitely called fratello = sibling, for a reason. But being neocons, they'd read all sorts of stuff into these things, they can't help themselves and oversexualize it, as they usually do.

Who agrees? Will they regard this as "left leaning Hollywood crap" or "finally a movie for gunlovers" ??
