Question About P90

I was wondering about Henrietta's P90. I have an airsoft replica of a P90 and I loves it!! What I'm wondering about is: is it possible to fit that gun into a violin case? I'm looking at my gun right now and I'm having a hard time seeing it fitting inside a violin case. Of course the only way to really confirm this is to find a case and do a size comparison. Of course I might get arrested for bringing a gun (even though it's airsoft) into a music shop.

So I am asking if anyone has ever tried fitting P90 into a violin case?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I poked around on Wikipedia annnnd.. it does sound like it would be a tight fit. According to them, the P90 is about 19.7 inches in length, and the average violin is anywhere between 12 - 16 inches. I guess it might be possible with a case for the larger ones, but it still seems like there wouldn't be a whole lot of space left. Maybe they have a custom case or something..?

Au contraire...

An average violin isn't *anywhere* between 12 - 16 inches: a full-size fiddle has a 14" body and is 23 inches long.

When you start getting into half and quarter-size they do get smaller.

Still, the case shape doesn't lend itself to a P90's shape.

Very old post I know and we know nothing about airsoft guns, but my hubby's family has many members who either work, own (companies or gunshops) or have something to do with the gun industry like LE and Military etc. My hubby is a longtime gun collector. And we do own a PS90 (the civilian version)and SBR'ed it meaning we got a short barrel (be aware to do that you have to go along with NFA rules and fee's etc) for it so now other than it being none full automatic its the same gun as the P90 the barrel is a rare CMMG barrel that is really hard to find and very $$$ if you do. So now you probably would have to go to gunsmith and cut your barrel or by a extra one and have it cut down. We or my hubby are MD's but we love guns for sport and self defense we dislike showoffs so I'll just say its in the mid 3 digit number so its an investment as well. As my hubby collects antiques and Class 3 NFA preban selectfire guns like a 3 Hk's a G3, MP5 A2, MP5SD and classic guns like the MP40, Thompson, BAR etc. We also own modern types like the ACR, SCAR, HK's are my hubby's most numerous make in our collection with Sig a close 2nd.

Anyway for kicks we did order a violin case but it did not when we took the shape out but just or PS90 has only a 1913 rail as the P90 sight is terrible so we have a Aimpoint TI on it and it wil fit unless you had it cut out for it but its a really tight fit and you need the largest case 20in or so. And our P90 clone is 19.9in so tight fit and nah tv BS it would not make a good case for this gun unless you took in apart maybe. But a stock case will not fit.

Btw we really don't use our P90 as proprietary ammo sucks it costs around $50 for 50rnd from FNH and only a tiny few ammo makes make that round so we reload when we do shoot it which again is rare. We just bought it to collect we have 2 actually as for types we or he likes we get 2 one to shoot one to collect or not shoot. And no we don't keep our collection in our home we have secure storage companies that we use (owned by a family member) Thankfully we live in a progun state. So we get to own these types of unique weapons. I love the history and wow some of his family and friends make our collection pale in comparison. Some own very rare and expensive guns like MG42's,MG34's and Barrett .50 rifles etc kinda crazy stuff truthfully but cool nonetheless.

But I also aware of the bad side of em as both of us are Physicians we know all too well of what kind a damage a gun could do. But with that said in a legal, sane and trained hands? Its nothing but a tool a tool tho that you should never ever be complacent with. So always be cautious Im more scared of powertools. We are very progun in that we need to keep our right to protect yourself so we are both lifetime NRA member's.

Pardon the rant I got a cold and bored as heck and I use voice as I hate typing.
PS don't get the FS2000 F2000 its a not too reliable gun. I know you guys were talking bb guns and I know no one will probably even read this but FN's guns like our SCAR's (4) are just O-K flimsy butt stock etc Goggle it and see what I mean. Keep safe and love the series still watch it even today. Just so busy tho. but love my work so can't complain but we watch anime to unwind alot. Wish more of these type shows would be made. :)
