when they 1st started talking about this match about a year ago, i thought for sure it was gonna happen at WM 22, but when that didnt, i thought they might save that biggy for WM 25, like for the 25th anniversary or somethin, but Hogan may have nuttin left come 2 1/2 years from now
That one will never happen. First of all, Austin is happy where he is now. He has no intentions of ever getting into a ring again. Secondly, Austin does not like Hogan personally. I'm not sure what the full story is, but what I heard was that when Austin first came into the buisness, Hogan was cold to him, and Austin took it personally and has had a thing against Hogan ever since (again I don't know the full story, there's probably more to it then that). The reason Austin said that stuff at the HOF was really just so the fans didn't riot.

I never said the WWE. I said the buisness. There's a huge difference. Hogan and Austin were in WCW together for a short time, if I remember correctly (for at least one year anyway). Regardless, the heat between them personally is real.

Bret hart would kick Hogan's butt. Let's face it, in real life almost all of the big names in WWE would beat Hogan because Hogan is really overated, but even though they are all better than Hogan, Hogan always wins because he's "immortal" (yeah right). That's one reason why Stane Cold doesn't want to fight Hulk Hogan.
Also Bret Hart is never coming back to the WWE because of the screwjob incident, and he also personaly hates Hogan. He hates Hogan because he said in an interview that when he won his very first WWF championship, Hogan would never talk to him when he held the title.
I actually think that despite how many people like Hogan, he's a real jerk.

shareI've been a faithful viewer for 20 years and its amazing how stupid it is now. I could handle it if there were good story lines and they tried to make things a little more perminant. They want a good wrestlemania.... well beings that it is gonna be held in Detroit again, here is the only final match they should have.....
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Batista vs Undertaker
(This match won't mean anything though, if Undertaker does not lose. This is the perfect place for his wrestlemania streak to be stopped. I don't care what kind of match it is as long as its mono e mono.)

John Cena vs Randy Orton
(That would be a descent match, I guess. There is not too much competition on Raw for Cena that hasn't already been run through the story ringer too many times)
But Rey Mysterio better never, ever be in another championship match! Especially at Wrestlemania.... What the heck were they thinking?!!!)
Another thing that must happen! They should not over shadow the two main events. The mid card matches should not be any longer than 10 minutes or so.
and there should be a huge match card.... I mean like 13 or 14 matches.

shareI really hope this is the year for the veterans, HBK and Taker should both win their respective titles. Those guys made the WWE good 10 years ago and they proved at the Rumble that they can still go, HBK in particular is looking better than ever. Build up the younger guys around them, Cena and Orton have plenty of time yet to shine. But let 2007 be the year for the old schoolers. And having Batista break Taker's Wrestlemania streak would be an insult to pro wrestling.
