it has been strongly rumoured that this will happen!
i mean it makes sense if you think about it,it has been in the works for a lot longer than people would imagine (ever since the success of summerslam 92) there was original plans to hold royal rumble 2000 in england but they chose MSG instead
the market in UK is massive! they sell out every show they do, it is way more popular over there and with the 4 tv tapings a year etc they are already paving the way for a big ppv!
can you imagine it at the new wembley stadium!!!!!!!!!!!
they would lose NO money what so ever for holding it UK. could be one of biggest events at the new stadium, which would be huge coo for WWE, i say do it, would be amazing
^^ Where is your proof? Sources? They haven't confirmed anything yet. But I've always said this, wembley holds over 90,000 people i think, and at WM 22 the attendence was what, less that 18 thousand? C'mon, maybe for a normal PPV that would be good, but Wrestlemania is HUGE. And it needs a crowd to show how big it is. 17 thousand is not a big crowd...
But, it also seems to be an american thing, each WM has been held in the USA. So why change it for its 25th year?
Won't happen. The WWE won't hold a WrestleMania outside the country because they would have to prerecord it, and they don't want the results for the biggest show of the year leaking onto the internet. Also to defend Chicago having WrestleMania 22, a Chicago crowd (even though it's probably smaller) is worth 5 in any other city (at least in the U.S.). Chicago is probably the most passionate wrestling city in the U.S., that's why it's hosted WrestleMania 3 times.
Ah, didnt think about the time delay thing. Good points by the above poster, and that kinda stops the thought of it. Although, they could broadcast it live in the US when its happening in the UK; why should us brits have to wait till 1am all the time? :P
