who wrote the script for this movie? in the part where the soviets show plans to rebuild warsaw, the russian guy said "nowa huta" as meaning "new town". nowa does mean new, but "huta" means ironworks or steelmill, not town.

Misiu, is this the only thing you can say about the film? Nowa Huta or nowe miasto? Who cares? We know the difference (you and I), but keep in mind that this movie is aimed at the non-Polish audience and for most people outside of Poland this particular issue is irrelevant.
