Eva's last name

I love this film (despite the laughably bad crowd shots.) Jon Voight and Cary Elwes were superb.

My hearing isn't what it used to be. Initially, I heard the Eva character's last name as "Tinkle", but after a few viewings, it's sounding like they're saying "Teckle" or something along those lines. Does anyone have a correct spelling?

As a point of historic fact, she's based on Dr. Wanda Półtawska. Google that name. It's an amazing story.
