Civil Air Patrol Squadrons absent

I grew up as an airport brat at Van Nuys and for a few years was a cadet in the Condor Cadet Squadron 167.

While I generally enjoyed this movie, I couldn't believe that they did not take one freaking minute to mention the CAP as airport tenants, not to mention the valuable service that they give to the aviation community.

Any thoughts????

Another aspect of the movie which would have added interest, but was overlooked.
