X-files

This movie wasn't too bad. I didn't know what to expect with the beginning of the movie being like an action flick. I certainly didn't expect it to turn out to be some horror type movie. The acting and filming was alright and the music and atmosphere was pretty good, at times somewhat suspenseful. When he found the doll house, however, I felt like I was watching an episode of the X-files and it never went beyond that. I don't think they knew how to end the movie either, so they left it in a loop with little to explain. Perhaps I just don't get it. Whats up with the nails? I give this movie a 6 for keeping me intrigued.

I took it as symbolic of crucification. Keller was meant to suffer endlessly in repentance for his sins. I almost have the impression the movie takes place while the two are dying. Adam states "don't worry it will all be over soon". The end of life was the beginning of the painful afterlife.
