Why is it that Devon Sawa keeps doing these "EXTREME" movies?

Extreme Opps which was complete crap, Extreme Dating which I never saw and now this with their, (Insert "step into a slim Jim" voice here), EXTREME MACINES!!!

I really just don't understand it. I hope this is good 'cause Devon needs a pick-me-up in his career. The guy is amazing and he hasn't gotten any note-worthy rolls in a while.
