This film would have been much better had it had a different story line, because the one that is used, is abysmal: corny and clichéd. If you have a creature as good and creepy as the one used in the movie (even if at times the cgi wasn't brilliant) then you don't waste it on a dull, tired movie plot with young people running around screaming and shouting, like they do in most low budget movies these days. The acting was terrible too. It started off great and went downhill faster than the stupid quad bikes. However if you like dull plots with screaming teenagers who are really in their late 20s, and can't act, alongside a wicked alien this is for you. I am giving the movie 4 though because there wasn't the usual off putting, total film spoiling soft porn scene so prevalent in the low budget genre.

Yep, if only this had a better plot, some age appropriate actors who were competent, a better script, proper CGI and good director...it may have been a decent movie.

sooo... Lemme get this straight, totally different people, a different script, much better CGI... so, basically throw this in the trash and have different people make an entirely different movie. (rolleyes)

BTW, you just described Avatar, so there. Done.
