i watched about 20 minutes of this and turned it off.
maybe it gets more interesting, i dont know, but im clearly not going to try and watch it again.

I got to 60 but while doing other stuff meanwhile.
I couldnt bear it anymore. Turned it off. This is the first movie I didnt finish watching in like 3 years....

I suppose u guys are retarted teens who like their movies acted by teens and when there's no teens in them , u just don't like em prolly cause you're not mature enough to understand movies with adults so go rent one of those childish boring teeny movies that u like so much , you're not mature enough to appreciate what a goodmovie is really

Ok I am 28 and a big fan of the movies to die for series.. I watch movies all the time, from the old school ones like the wizard(fred savage), princess bride,big trouble in little china,gone with the wind and so forth all the way up to new classics like old school,waiting and so on. I have only fallen asleep on one other movie and that was the grudge 2. that one blows more then pari$
h!lton. so with that why dont you watch some teen movies and remember what it's like to be a teen

It took me 4 sittings to get through this snoozefest. And no! I'm not an immature teen. I'm a professional adult with a Master's degree who appreciates good movies.

This was one of the worst attempts at a horror film I've had the misfortune of sitting through. It was so nonsensical. The plot veered wildly all over the place. So much of the story was left unexplained. There were basically no scares. Ugh, I would only recommend this to my worst enemy.

You saw more than me then. o.o
I "watched" an hour of this (was giving myself a pedicure), then i couldn't take it anymore. I was constantly predicting what was going to happen, like when she got on that boat.. oh that wasn't obvious, suuuure.

I've watched 3-4 of these horrorfest movies.. NONE of them are scary, or even what I would classify as a horror movie. Thrillers, sure, but definitely not horror.
They should call it Snoozefest. Rinne was the only good one =/

i agree with everyone else. and i am no where near being a mindless teenager either. this movie was a disaster of mistakes and plot holes and i just got more and more irritated as it went on. yes the story is clear, but it makes zero sense even with total suspension of reality. its totally unbelievable. its just cool horror movie gimmick after gimmick with no after thought for a cohesive story. nothing original except a few of the house time traveling/changing effects which i thought looked fantastic both in effectiveness and the camera work/visuals. it was pretty much the movies ONLY redeeming factor. i didnt fall asleep and made it through in one sitting, but only because i was holding out some kind of hope that it would all come together nicely at the end. but it didnt. its just a bad movie plain and simple.

The main character in this movie constantly acts like a mindless teenager. Always losing her temper. Always swearing. Assaulting her brother for no reason. Falling down and crying, giving herself a pity party in the middle of the movie out of the blue. Bashing in the the mirror and saying to her reflection "What are you looking at, you bitch?"

This movie certainly does seemed geared to mindless teenagers, but maybe they saved a few bucks by hiring an old actress to act like a mindless teenager.

To answer the subject of the thread: I had a real hard time getting through this movie. Had to start and stop it multiple times just to get through it. Last movie I've seen that was so bad I had to do that was the dreadful "The Invasion" with Nicole Kidman. There used to be a huge running thread on that board about "How many times did you fall asleep during this movie?" with tons of posters having fell asleep during it mulitple times. Reminds me a lot of this thread. These two movies must go well together as two of the most sleep-inducing. LOL

Yeah, It was really slow moving. It took me two tried to get through it.

It seemed intelligently written, and you had to REALLY pay attention to what was going on if you had any hope of making sense of it. Unfortunately, it doesn't really reward you for your efforts.

Really frustrating; I've tried it twice now...

Good acting, incredible cinematography, intelligent writing, great mood and atmosphere, spooky setting, killer soundtrack...and yet, ultimately, boring as *beep*

I think I agree with above: takes too much concentration for very little payoff. And no, I'm not a mindless teenager who just "doesn't get" good movies!

Individual aspects were great; as a whole, it just didn't work for me, and that's okay! Just couldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'm gonna quit watching it now before I pass out...zzzzz...
