movies that sucked

What about the Natalia tattoo on Nikolai's arm? In Cyrillic lettering, it would be a "P" sound, not an "N!" That annoyed me even more than the opening credits because it seemed like such a profound part of his character. How is it that the film makers included Russian dialogue, yet declined to spell anything as it would have been spelled in Russian?

Glorbs?

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

Not sure I understand you- the "P" symbol in Cyrillic represents the R sound. Were you thinking of "наталя" (Russian spelling of Natalia)? Did you mean the letter я (the "ya" sound, which I still unfortunately think of as "backwards R")?

The war is not meant to be won... it is meant to be continuous.

I just felt your pain, if so... the IMDb protocol just converted all my beautiful Cyrillic symbols into computer gobbledygook.

I meant that what they showed in the film looked like an American/English "N," but in cyrillic is actually a "P" sound. It should have looked like an American/English "H," but I guess they couldn't get a level one Russian alphabet textbook and learn the difference. The opening credits--also a huge irritation. If I see the "ya" letter used as an "R" again, I don't know what I'll do. Sorry for the rant, just irritated.

No, that was a "Gemini" Zodiac sign (twins).

He and Natalia had it put on their arms when they thought they'd be together forever.

She "couldn't save him from his Hell," so she left him.

She might've been cursed anyway, if that was really she near the end, luring Nikolai toward the Boars.

But I guess if you know the Cyrillic alphabet, yes, the titles would be annoying. I don't so it wasn't. It just helped set the tone.

I have a different pet peeve:

Characters who do everything wrong to move the plot along or to stumble into danger to provide a scare.
