I loved the Vietnam episodes too. I loved how beautiful it is and the beauty of the food. Until recently we didn't really see images of beauty from Vietnam, it was all ugliness from the war. Here's a link to that beautiful Vietnamese fairy tale he talks about in the second Vietnam show:

I have seen clips from when he did the trip to Vietnam. When he sits down to enjoy the Pho, I found a Vietnamese restaraunt here in Omaha, NE to try it for myself. When the waitress asked me my intrest in the Pho, especially the beeef with tendons and tripe. I explained "Saw it on Anthony Bourdain".
