A Sissy Compared To Zimmern.

And that title has nothing to do with what Zimmern eats, but how squeamish he is when it comes to killing animals.
The Greek Islands episode is a prime example. He enjoyed the lamb, yet acted like pollyanna at the natural process of taking the animal's life.
OTOH,Zimmern is far more gun-ho.Never seems to flinch with what has to be done.

Zimmern is a fat groveling brown-noser who isn't man enough to eat durian.

Excuse me, where are you taking us? Mexico
What's in Mexico? Mexicans

Why compare?

WTF, that's why Bourdain has the upper hand. He used to be a straight shooter. Now he is more mainstream, can't say bad words anymore.

reply

Bourdain is not about some culinary freak show.

Yeah, he's eaten some rank stuff in his time, but it is always in the context of the place he is visiting and not just for shock value.

Zimmern has lived in Minnesota for a long time, and knows his way around a hunting rifle, a skill he has demonstrated from time to time on his show. Bourdain is an urban hunter-gatherer for whom fresh meat comes from the butcher, and if he went deer hunting, the deer would have to lie down and pull the trigger with its antler. Since any hunter learns how to field-dress his game, it's not surprising that Zimmern gets in there with both hands when he needs to, and Bourdain is like, "Ooooooo-kay..."

Then it's a good thing Tony isn't a hunter, nor does he claim to be. Your point seems totally irrelevant.
