In US theaters?

Does anybody know if this movie will be shown in the US? If so, when?

This person must be an idiot who knows nothing about good movies or probably some disgruntled actor who didn't get a part in this movie. Everyone I know loves this movie. Even TIME Magazine gave it a great review:

I enjoyed the movie. I'm Canadian, I seen it on Showtime in Spanish. The man was driven to find her, he finally did, and at that point her could let her go. He had to give her the benefit of the doubt and he had to have closure, the only way to find that closure was to finally find her. Imagine if he never seen her again how his life would be tormented by bad dreams and nightmares about losing her.

It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but I did enjoy it.

Also, I know purists won't be too thrilled, but an English dub is being done currently, but I am pretty sure it will be for TV and/or DVD only.

Silly comment, this film is worth watching, I found very little bias of all sorts though it had matter a-plenty since emigrants and (some) women are treated rather roughly throughout.

I don't know about the US theatres, I'm French myself and had a hard time understanding every word what with that South Am accent!

forget that comment....This movie is awesome... the music is great, the performances are brilliant and the film makes you think...the movie keeps playing in your head after you leave the theatre
a masterpiece... moving and authentic...everything you go to the movies for...

I have not seen this movie. Does anyone know the status after it was shown at the NY and LA Film Festivals?

Thanks, by the way I heard positive comments about this film.
