Season 4, episode 1. The guy that Delores was on a blind date with, is really a emissary sent by Bernard. We’re lead to believe he was sent by William & means her harm but I believe it was Bernard that sent him to take her to him next episode. BTW what was it that happened to her? Was she memory wiped? Perhaps willingly by her own doing? Why is she like this, that it seems she doesn’t know herself? What do you all think?

That anyone has been able to hang with this show after the first episode is a mystery on par with questions such as "How does Sydney Sweeney not fall over, when she's 5'3 yet has a rack that's The Eighth Wonder Of The World"
Other than her roommate saying she needs to get laid, Not sure about the blind date guy or who might be behind it.
But Remember how her father use to be the FLESH EATING PROFESSOR before he becomes a RANCHER? He's given an ENTIRELY NEW and different IDENTITY the same way as MAEVE was also living in the CABIN with her daughter before she's also given an ENTIRELY NEW and different IDENTITY and became the MADAME.
So that's probably what's going on with DOLORES who has also been given an ENTIRELY NEW and different IDENTITY and become CHRISTINA now.
SERAC is the one who WIPED her memory clean, but there are also several other COPIES of her around inside of the bodies of others (like CHARLOTTE and LAWRENCE who was saved from being HANGED by the MAN in BLACK before he danced with his wife and kills her right in front of her young daughter).
It’s been so long since I seen the last season I just am confused about all that you said. BUT I had the subtitles on so I know who that man was/is. You know the one Dolores went on a blind date to meet & also the one that observes her from the street at the end. That’s Teddy Flood, a friendly so I was right in assuming that Bernard sent him to her. In the previews for next week or down the line I guess we see her with Bernard, so I’m thinking he comes to her & takes her to Bernard.
When last we see Bernard, he was deactivated where he had dust on him when he “woke up” so I don’t know how long it’s been time wise.
What happens to the father of DOLORES (Peter) and MAEVE happens way back in S1.
Remember how her father (the RANCHER) started acting strange after he found the PHOTO of what turns out to be the WIFE of the MAN in BLACK?
Then FORD examines him, and explains how he use to be a PROFESSOR who had a CULT FOLLOWING and ate human flesh. And then her father also THREATENS FORD and BERNARD, so they send him down to the basement area with the rest of the others who were there.
Then MAVE also starts to remember her past life with her daughter, and that leads to still more trouble.
And whenever a HOST causes trouble they usually get a NEW IDENTITY, or else they get sent down to the basement area. And Dolores has also been causing lots of trouble. But Serac also had all of the HOSTS down in the BASEMENT area BURNED UP. But if they didn't have those PEARLS inside of their HEADS at the time, that also wouldn't matter. Because they can just make more bodies in that MILK BATH and then put the PEALS inside of the new body.
And YES Bern put on a HEADSET to assess the SUBLIME Area that DOLORES sent TEDDY to, and then WAKES UP with LOTS of DUST all over him.
The MAN in BLACK also says it's been 7 or 8 YEARS since then, but we also know how UNRELIABLE it is to judge the passing of TIME by him (due to the way we had 2 DIFFERENT TIME LINES going on at the SAME TIME back in S1 where we had the YOUNGER WILLIAM and the MAN in BLACK at the same time without knowing about that until the END of the SEASON).
So for that reason there's also no way of knowing if we have 2 DIFFERENT TIME LINES again this SEASON. Like maybe this CHRISTINA could be an EARLIER version of DOLORES before she got assigned another IDENTITY and became DOLORES ???

Or maybe this CHRISTINA could even be "THE WOMAN with the WHITE SHOES" who took all of OLD BILL's MONEY and drank all his booze?? In other words, could this also be the "REAL WOMAN" that FORD used as a way to create the other copy of DOLORES that he made??? If so, then we might also be dealing with a TIME FRAME prior to when WESTWORLD takes place.

Back in S1 TEDDY also had another different IDENTITY where he worked for some kind of CRAZY MILITARY man. And TEDDY also looks much more MODERN looking now than the cowboy type of character that he played back in S1 inside of the WESTWORLD THEME park.

Wood also has some words of warning for anyone automatically assuming this Teddy is the same one we’ve always known.
“We don’t know if this is our sweet Teddy yet. We know that he looks and sounds an awful lot like him, just like Christina looks and sounds an awful like Dolores, but we don’t actually know his story yet. Is he good? Is he bad? All those fun Westworld questions. We’re always asking ourselves.”
I can't even remember what happened to Bernard.

how audiences put up with these random, soap opera stories is beyond me.
