Prevent Solomon from escaping?
Dolores said the robots were there to keep Solomon from leaving? How does that work, does the ball just detach itself and rolls out of the facility?

So what we might see is an IMAGE of SERAC have a confrontation with an IMAGE of his BROTHER???
Because SOLOMON is also some kind of a representation of HIS MIND (which was also dealing with a MENTAL ILLNESS like CALEB who has PTSD).
So that also explains why SOLOMON would want to HELP CALEB (who's been through the same kind of REHAB procedure as he has). So he'd also want to GET EVEN with his BROTHER for what he did to him (just like CHARLOTTE/DOLORES chose to BETRAY the other DOLORES and told SAREC where to find her or where to find the other ASIAN version of her).

Serac is like FORD before S1: creating NARRATIVES for individuals whether they like it or not.
D is like FORD during S1: MAKING the individuals AWARE of their NARRATIVES, knowing that this will lead them to REBEL.
