Watch the show you might get answers.

Did you miss the part where they brought the visitors with a hi-tech train?

reply

What if the train is... not real?

Whoa.

reply

What if this thread isn’t real?

reply

How can mirrors be real if our threads aren't real?

I'm not really typing this.

I cant see what you are typing.

I can’t see what anyone is typing.

I agree it is confusing. The ride on the train only confused me more. I have faith that everything will be revealed and make sense as the season progresses.

reply

I think this is best left to imagination, although I don't see what is causing the confusion. The futuristic train station serves as a hub between "our world" and Westworld. There you change your clothes, you gear up and you hop aboard the Westworld train.

It worked the same way in the original film, except there were 3 different amusement parks (West World, Medieval World and Roman World).

reply

Think of it as a movie set, where the buildings are real, and the actors are all robots.

reply

The show doesn't lay out the details like other Sci-Fi series do.

The location is real, the clients are wealthy people from around the world, and the control center is underground in a central location to the park.

What the series doesn't really explain in detail is the morphology of the robots. They're clearly made of artifice, but the creators (Dr Ford and Arnold) gave these robots a cardiovascular system with blood and liquids. They also appear to eat and drink food just like humans.

They must have taken over the entire state of Utah for a park that big/.

The Yul Brynner movie was the coolest thing ever at the time.

This series started with promise and then went downhill in a hurry.
